Question: What licenses and exams do i need as a day/swing trader in the stock market?

I don't think it is mandatory but I would still like to have all my proper licenses. Maybe the series 55, 7 etc.

If you are doing this for yourself there is no license needed. If you are doing this as an advisor for clients you likely need a Series 7. As an individual you need a margin account with $25,000 in equity to day/ swing trade under SEC rules.

You dont need any licenses unless you're selling securities for a commission, or giving advice or managing someone elses investments and being paid for it.

You only need a license to be a stockbroker. You are free to buy and sell on your own.

Maybe a head exam. I hope your leaning more toward swing trading and not day trading. There is a hugh difference.
