Question: Where can i find daily stock data for companie stop trading?

Hi guys, is it possible to find historical daily share data for financial institutions which have stopped trading as a result of merger &acquisition? Banks like Wachovia Corp, Merrill Lynch, Abbey National or Credit Lyonnais? Please help if anyone knows, I need it for my dissertation research and can't find it myself. Thanks all! Is it just any local library? What sort of article or journal can I find it in?

You might try Bigcharts.com. "Historical prices ". But I'm not sure any keep records of companies that are gone. Many libraries do have one particular reference that is the rosetta stone for finding out what happened to stocks and companies that now no longer exist. But I doubt that will help with pricing.

The library is the best place to find it. Its next to impossible to find it on the net.
