Question: What is your opinion on an ipo play?

Purchasing shares (Sensata: ST) strikes me as a bet on an over all economic recovery. As stated in the article. My crystal ball is just as foggy as the next guy... Would like to hear some opinions on this IPO play.

I have sold IPOs time and time again. Not one has ever 'won'. You mention that it is a 'play'. You have the right term: Play. If you can afford to lose, then play. You could win. If you pass this up and the stock wins, you will be upset for not seeking the risk. Remember, please, that rewards are paid to those who take the risks. Never, ever, ever risk more than you can afford to cheerfully lose.
