Question: When dealing with real estate investors.....?

If a real estate investors says he will give me a finders fee for every deal that I hook him up with, should I get a contract to make sure that he has to pay me for the find, or is it the etiquette to make deals by a phone call and a handshake and his name and reputation will keep him honest. Another words should I get a contract before giving him deals or should I assume that deals are just done over the phone and their word is good enough? |
