Question: Is there any way to get financial aid for those who does not have medical insurance?

I have received a bill from one of US hospital . I have no money and no income to pay the bill. Is any organization help these kind of people who does not have any income ?

Churches, and family members. Some hospitals have charity programs. Start by calling the hospital billing department.

Tons. And if you ever need to visit an ER or anything always go Catholic. Might not be your religion of choice, but the Catholic hospitals rock.

There is a law called COBRA- Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1986 protects employees, their spouses, and their eligible dependents by allowing them to continue their company health coverage. A person may become eligible in ANY OF THE FOLLOWING : 1. the death of the employee 2. termination of the employee 3. reduction of the employess's hours 4. divorce or legal separation 5. end of a dependent child's status as a dependent
