Question: What is business and finance?

I might take this class in my senior year but what you do in it? if i have a business like a pharmacy, i cant loss my job no mateer about the economy unless people stop buyin right?

Yes. It is true that people keep getting sick in good times and bad times. You might be able to get thru a prolonged downturn with your pharmacy. The problem is that there are so many pharmacies competing. In some cities there is a drug store on every corner.

I think this concept of "business and finance " is a little too deep for you at this time. If you think because your self-employed because you own a drug store and employ a registered and licensed Pharmacist - and you won't have to worry about the "economy " you've hit a new mental stop-sign. Where is the money coming from to buy a going concern (Drug Store) ? Right now to buy one your looking to spend at least 500,000 to 2,000,000. Thats' todays price, when you ready to buy your business, it will much more.
